GENERAL CONDITIONS
Definition of Ophthalmologist Scientific Paper Competition:
All scientific works completed when the author has become an ophthalmologist.
Ophthalmologist Scientific Paper Competition:
Oral Presentation is presented in front of the audience and the jury using presentation program with presentation file format (.ppt) (observational or experimental descriptive research).
Poster Presentation is presented / displayed in the form of posters (case reports and case series).
Definition of Resident Scientific Paper Competition:
All scientific works completed when the author is still undergoing the ophthalmology residency program, including thesis and final assignment.
Resident Scientific Paper Competition:
Oral Presentation is presented in front of the audience and the jury using presentation program with presentation file format (.ppt) (observational or experimental descriptive research).
Poster Presentation is presented / displayed in the form of posters (case reports and case series).
General Practitioner Scientific Paper Competition:
All scientific works completed that related to ophthalmology when the author is still as general practitioner.
General Practitioner Paper Competition:
Oral Presentation is presented in front of the audience and the jury using presentation program with presentation file format (.ppt) (observational or experimental descriptive research).
Poster Presentation is presented / displayed in the form of posters (case reports and case series).
ORAL PRESENTATION
Oral Presentation is presented in front of the audience and the jury using presentation program with presentation file format (.ppt) (observational or experimental descriptive research).
ABSTRACT
Participants must submit abstracts with the following format:
- All abstracts must be submitted in English with document file format (.doc/.pdf).
- The title must be brief, concise, and in CAPITAL LETTERS. Limited to 20 words.
- Abstract should include the following headings: INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVE, METHODS, RESULT, CONCLUSION, KEYWORDS.
- Font: Times New Roman; Font size: 11pt; Line spacing: single-spaced, and must not exceed 250 words, and no chart or graphics should be included in the abstract submission.
- Do not mention in the abstract: the names of any affiliated institutes, academic institutions, hospitals, eye centers, etc. or names of any individuals involved in the study. Otherwise, the abstract will be rejected outright.
- Define each abbreviation the first time it is used in the abstract by placing what it stands for in parentheses.
- Type in the names and affiliations as you would like them to appear in any publication. Please give the names in full for each of the co-authors. Initials are only accepted for middle names if any.
- The Scientific Committee reserves the right to redact any submission.
- You are permitted a maximum of 5 keywords per abstract. If more than 5 words are entered, only the first 5 will be recognized.
- The abstract must be received maximal at May 31st, 2020.
- Abstract has never been presented or published in any journal. If abstracts had previously been published, it could be presented but cannot be included into paper evaluation.
- Abstracts are uploaded via https://perdami.or.id/pit2020
- Participants must register online before submitting an abstract and payment must be completed after the abstract has been accepted. Participants will be blacklisted for the next Annual Scientific Meeting/PIT if after 2 weeks after acceptance announcement, they do not complete the payment.
FULL PAPER
Participants must submit the manuscripts with the following format:
- Manuscripts must be submitted in Bahasa Indonesia or English using document format (.doc) or (.pdf) with 2-column page (published format).
- Manuscripts must be written in A4 paper size and restricted to 7 (seven) pages, including references.
- Manuscripts: Font: Arial; Font size: 11pt; Line spacing: single-spaced
- References: Font: Arial; Font size: 8pt; Line spacing: single-spaced
- Manuscripts begin with an abstract in ENGLISH that is written in one column.
- Title must be accompanied by author's name and institution's origin
- Manuscripts must be submitted after abstract acceptance and must be received maximal July 31st 2020.
- Manuscripts must be in format (.doc/.pdf) and are uploaded via https://perdami.or.id/pit2020
- The Annual Scientific Meeting 2020 committee holds the copyright to all the materials presented at the Congress and may reproduce the materials in any form for distribution.
PRESENTATION MATERIALS
- Participants must prepare presentation slides in English and present it in English. The slide must be collected to the committee (at the speaker ready room) maximum of 1 (one) day before the presentation schedule.
- Presentation duration is 8 (eight) minutes and 2 (two) minutes for discussion.
- Participants who are absent in presentation schedule will be disqualified.
POSTER PRESENTATION
Poster Presentation is presented / displayed in the form of posters (case reports and case series).

POSTER PRESENTATION
Participants must send the poster in English with the following format:
- Consist of: Title, Authors and Institution, Purpose, Case Illustration (diagram, table, and picture), Discussion, Conclusion, Keywords, References.
- For the references, write at least 3 recent references (last 5 years).
- Posters are made in the form of:
- SOFT COPY
- For judging, soft copy in portrait view with 16 : 9 ratio, minimal resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixel, minimal font size of 6 pt and 300 ppi in jpeg format, uploaded to perdami.or.id
- Soft copy must be received maximal July 31st 2020.
- HARD COPY
- Printed poster sized of width 60 cm and height 90 cm. Make sure the poster could be read at 1 meter. The printed poster should be brought to the Poster Display Area one day before poster presentation. We kindly ask poster presenters to stand at or near by their poster according to the schedule set by the committee.
